Hampton Pool Trust is recruiting
Finance Director (voluntary role)
We are looking for a new Finance Director to oversee Hampton Pool Trust’s financial affairs as it embarks on the first phase of a major redevelopment of its poolside buildings and facilities. As Finance Director, you will play a part in securing the future of Hampton Pool for generations to come. The role will require you to provide financial oversight of the pool operators P&L, the Trusts bookkeeper and the multi-million-pound redevelopment project.
The Trust is run by a Board of Trustees on a voluntary basis with a vision to secure the future of the pool for the health and wellbeing of the local community. You will join the Board, Chair the Finance Committee, liaise with the pool operator, participate in the redevelopment project, and ensure the Trust’s financial reporting obligations are met.
Who we are looking for
As the successful candidate, you will be enthusiastic, tenacious, and inclusive. You will be an experienced qualified accountant able to demonstrate your financial oversight capabilities. Experience of construction projects is desirable but not a prerequisite.
Term
Appointments to the Board are usually for a three-year term.
Time commitment
Typically a day per week with flexibility required depending on the changing needs of our organisation. Board meetings are held on weekday evenings (c.8 per year). Project and oversight activities may require attendance at daytime meetings.
